"Thank you so much for having an amazing store!!! My mother flew all the way from Canada to shop with me for a dress. Even going to those fancy uptight bridal stores *which only let you try on a few dresses that are all oversized. I was able to be free to shop in your store with my 2 aunts and mother!! What an amazing experience. Your selection was wonderful and I was able to find two dresses that I loved. Thanks to your shop helper she and my aunts helped pick out my Amazing Wedding Dress!! "Dear All. Just wanted to write a personal thank you for the wonderful service and support you provided in the lead-up to my wedding. I recently got married at the end of April, after a whirlwind romance and less than a year's planning - and had the most perfect day ever. Now that the euphoria has settled and life has resumed a sense of normality, I'd like take the opportunity to thank Copplestones and Angela in particular, for a fantastic dress service from beginning to end. Having stumbled across the website by chance very early on in my search for the dress I ventured from London to Liverpool adamant I was going to find what I wanted, at a fraction of the usual price and I wasn't disappointed. I tried on about a dozen dresses and knew instantly when I eventually found 'the one', however different from what I'd expected it to be and six months later, I was able to combine two fittings with a hen weekend in Liverpool - which went down a treat. Angela was lovely from beginning to end, so warm, patient and understanding - the whole 'dress' thing was the easiest part of the entire process. And that's the honest truth!!!! My daughter Eve chose a dress absolutley perfect for her. John was great... just let us get on with it, no pushy interference, just a lovely cup of tea...perfect. Angela is such a lovely person. She made the whole thing just right. Angela altered Eves dress very proffesionally and is so kind and committed to her job of looking after the brides. "Dear Mr Sibson, Myself and my daughter came to your bridal store recently to purchase the dress for her wedding next year in Florida. We came from Manchester and it was well worth the journey. We had already visited several bridal stores in Manchester and Cheshire and seen lots of overpriced dresses so were pleasantly suprised at the prices in your store plus the selection of dresses were fantastic. We didnt feel pressured at all, in fact, Angela told us to take as long as wewanted which made us relax and enjoy it. "Angela was lovely, she was helpful and didnt make me feel rushed or pressured. I think your shop is fantastic, and I have already passed your name on to several brides to be. When I told my mum I was coming to your shop and as advertised all dresses were under £300, she said "oh it will only be about three dresses for that much and the rest will be hundreds"!! "Hi this is to all you Brides to be out there. I want to let you know that I hate shopping and I dreaded the thought of having to traipse around the shops looking for my perfect wedding dress. Anyway I accidentally found Copplestones, made a quick call and made arrangements for me, my mum an sister-in-law to go over and try on a few dresses. "I would like to say a BIG thank you for helping me find my Wedding dress - you were the first and only bridalwear store I visited and you have saved my so much time and effort! I was very nervous about shopping for a Wedding dress because I am not in my eyes a 'perfect 10' (or even a 'perfect 12 or 14'), however after a little time spent browsing beautiful dresses I did indeed find my 'perfect dress' and I am now very excited rather than nervous about getting to wear it. "Hello to all future brides considering visiting 'The Bridal Basement'. My name is Cath and I have recently purchased a wedding dress from 'Copplestones'. How did I hear about the place? From a magazine in a hotel in Warrington at my friends wedding. When I read John was selling designer wedding dresses from £99 to £249 I thought it was too good to be true...maybe a spoof...so I checked the website, registered and was invited to go and view the dresses. The Bridal Basement showroom was located just on the edge of the town centre up a side street so I wasnt expecting to find 'the dress' but after trying on about two dozen, I found it!!!! After five months of searching I found it!!! It was bigger than I thought I'd get and prettier than I'd seen in any other bridal shop, a damn sight cheaper too. The money I saved is going towards building my home. So what advice can I give you? Go for it! Just go! You might not find the wedding dress you want but there is every wedding dress under the sun and John is very helpful. Make sure you take a trusted member of your wedding team to help you out and give it a go! I know three people I've told about Copplestones who are getting married next year. "Before visiting your "shop" I was a bit worried, as the wedding day was getting closer, and in the few months I spent looking for a dress, I could not find even one to meet all my expectations. I live in Chester, and there are a few nice shops there, but I didn't like them for 2 reasons: first of all the prices were really high, and even though I agree that the wedding day is special and you need to spend some money on the dress, I feel that £1000 is way too much. Secondly, I like to take my time when choosing a dress, and have my privacy, and in the shops I visited I was very intimidated by the fact that the shop assistant would watch me all the time, even if with the intention of being helpful. Now, the experience I had with Copplestones was completely different. John was were very helpful and nice all along. The choice of dresses in my size was just amazing (probably about 30) and they were all just beautiful. I did try all of them on in my own time, with my 2 friends there with me and that was great fun! The atmosphere was very nice, chatting with other brides-to-be while trying the dresses on. I ended up buying the first one I tried on, and I am very happy with my choice. The most expensive dress in your shop was £249 and the thought that you can actually afford to buy any dress you see there iis very nice. To sum up, I had a great day, ended up buying a very beautiful and initially expensive dress at a price that I am happy to spend for a wedding dress.
